Flora Cast Series is a series of prints inspired by quiet, reflective walks where I paused to observe how light filtered through trees, cast shadows on the ground, and danced across leaves and flowers. These moments—simple and often overlooked—became meditative experiences that grounded me and offered space for stillness. I began photographing the shadows of the plants I encountered, drawn to their fleeting, delicate forms.

Using these shadow images as a base, I created layered monoprints that repeat each silhouette in varying colors and textures. The repetition is intentional—it brings movement, rhythm, and a sense of energy to the still forms, transforming quiet moments into vibrant compositions. Each print celebrates the beauty found in transience and everyday nature. The work captures how something as subtle as a shadow can become bold, colorful, and full of life when we slow down enough to really notice it.
